2023 ALPS Defense Panel Retreat
Lemons, Grundy & Eisenberg partners Doug Brown and Dane Littlefield attended the 2023 Defense Panel Retreat hosted by ALPS Insurance Agency in beautiful downtown Missoula, Montana from June 14 to June 15, 2023. ALPS is the nation’s largest direct writer of legal malpractice insurance and works in conjunction with numerous state bar organizations across the country in their efforts to bring the subject of attorney wellbeing and selfcare to the forefront.
Topics addressed at the conference included a presentation by the ALPS Claims Team, an informative lecture by ALPS Risk Manager Mark Bassingthwaighte regarding cybersecurity risks and solutions, and a discussion of ALPS’ vision for the future presented by ALPS Chief Operating Officer Chris Newbold. The retreat also featured as a speaker Colter Barnes, a contestant on Season 8 of History Channel’s program Alone and opportunities to enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities Missoula offers.
